Stephen Bruyant-Langer, headhunter and executive coach, is the President and Founder of The Personal Business Plan, a company successfully transforming the lives of thousands of top-level executives through Stephen’s world-class Executive Coaching programs.
He is an economist and the author of two successful leadership books: The Personal Business Plan – A Blueprint for Running Your Life (2013, Wiley) and Your Next Career – the Headhunter’s Guide to Lifelong Success (2012, L&R, in Danish).
Before founding his own company, Stephen was a senior partner and country manager at Korn Ferry, the world’s leading Executive Search and Talent Management firm. Stephen worked for 15 years as a marketing executive for global market leaders such as L’Oréal and The Coca-Cola Company before reinventing himself as a Headhunter and Executive Coach in 1996. Since 1996, he has pursued, in parallel, an academic career as an External Associate Professor at Copenhagen Business School, focusing on Strategic Market Management and Corporate Communication. He has published more than 400 articles and columns on leadership and is widely used as a keynote speaker at conferences.
Stephen Bruyant-Langer is happily married to Mette Bruyant-Langer, a business lawyer, who is the CEO and Founder of The Personal Business Plan. Together, they have four grown-up children and three grandchildren. The family lives in Denmark, near the sea and the forest. Stephen has dual French/Danish citizenship, has lived in Belgium, France and Denmark, and is fluent in English, French, and Danish.
